PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

These are the rules that EVERYONE has to follow during a Roleplaying session. Failure to abide by these rules will result in removal from the session. Break these rules in 3 individual sessions and you will be suspended from Hell's Archers Roleplay and your permanent banning will be up to a vote by admins.

We ask that you read over these rules and follow them for a more immersive and fair experience, but most importantly, have fun! Please have respect towards all other players and use common courtesy.

Role plays usually last between 2 to 4 hours. They will usually be held on Fridays or Saturdays. Your on duty admin will alert you as to when the Roleplay is over. Sessions will attempt to fit the hours of the players. Contact any available admin to find dates.

If you have any questions, please contact us at the 'Contact Us' section of this website.

Hell's Archers Roleplay Rules

1. Have your character's appearance, background story, and profession in mind before attending a Roleplay. We advise that your character's appearance match his personality and profession. Any questions on professions and appearances just consult an admin.

2. All players must stay in character at all times unless the use of the phrase "out of character" is employed.

3. All players must record their own balances. At the end of every session report your totals to the designated admin (preferrably in the form of a message.)  *A calculator is recommended.*

4. No metagaming. (Using knowledge or emotion gained outside of Roleplay in Roleplay.)

For example:

Bobby and Jimmy had an argument an hour before roleplay. When roleplay started Jimmy "accidentally" ran over Bobby with a tank. Jimmy let his out of game emotions towards Bobby get the best of him and now must sit the rest of the roleplay out.

5. No random killing or killing without a (good) cause. Causes must be of an in-game reason.

6. It is recommended that players should follow traffic and road laws. This rule is enforced by police only. No admin punishment will be employed.

7. Players will be allowed 3 natural deaths per session (death by civilians, police, natural causes.) and 1 player induced death per character life. Once either branch of life is wasted you must make a new, unrelated character. Players are allowed to inflict their own deaths.

Examples but not limited to: Planning to die in a gunfight

                                                   Getting executed

                                                   Falling to your death

                                                   Suicide

                                                   Etc.

If you run out of character lives, then you must make a new character. No exceptions.

8. If you wish to join an upcoming Roleplay session then please message an admin and let he/she know you are attending.

9. There should not be any talking over each other. It is hard enough to hear already without proximity chat so please, don't add to the difficulty.

10. Do not fool around and ruin the experience for other players. You may leave at any time, so if you happen to get bored or just have to go then be sure to let an admin know and give them your current cash balance before leaving.

11. All players must turn off and switch the following settings:  Radar

                                                                                                    HUD (optional)

                                                                                                    Switch weapon targeting to simple.

Set Player Overhead Display to "None"

12. All players will start with weapons suiting their character. Any other weapons must be obtained in game.

13. All players must have a mic in use during any and all Roleplay sessions.

14. Any players who are LSPD/BCSD/FIB must dress accordingly. Only exceptions are for undercover, detective, police chief.

15. Treat Roleplay as if you were seeing life through your character's eyes. Try and make it as realistic as you can. For instance, walk as opposed to running everywhere, or drive under the limits of the law rather then speeding to every destination, and if you get into a wreck treat it as such! Give out your best performance!

16. If you have to go AFK during a session just tell your on duty admin and leave the session, then when you are back message for an invite.

17. At the end of every Roleplay find a spot you are comfortable with stopping at and remember where that was. We will always try and stop when all players are inside their homes to avoid confusion.  * REMEMBER: see rule #3

18. Please remember what is going on with your character and anything that is affecting your character in Roleplay. Don't make this complicated.

19. To add some realism to the RP, cars are not allowed to be flipped back over without the help of at least 2 other people or a reasonably sized vehicle.

20. If you are stranded out at sea you must swim back or wait for help. Suicides count as a player death.

21. No RP farming during a Roleplay session.

22. Only handguns and small melee weapons are concealable. Baseball bats and anything other than small arms CANNOT be concealed. Although they CAN be stored in the trunk of your car, but if you are pulled over by the police, they can be confiscated and you will go on a trip down to the station.  REMEMBER* Gun laws are strict in the Los Santos area. Try not to be caught with a weapon out on the streets or public places.

23. Consult the "Occupation Form" for your daily payouts, paychecks are recieved in-game day at 15:00.

24. Fist kills do not count as a death, although they do count as a knock out. Whether the winner of the fight decides to finish the job while you're out is entirely up to them.

25. In Roleplay, all actual game money must be deposited in an ATM.

26. A player cannot use Merryweather services unless their character becomes an associate of Merryweather.

     Examples: Helicopter pickup

                         Boat pickup

     Exceptions: Mercenary hit squad

27. You may surrender to the police via the surrender action. If you surrender to NPC police then you must drive yourself to the police station and into the cell.***

28. You may not use the same HOUSE as another character DURING Roleplay, although you may live in the same apartment. Just choose your home wisely and consult other players to see what is available.
